It's filled with vivid and beautiful pictures. It explains great facts and life styles of the wild life that live there but it's limited on the amount of animals it names. (Considering there are more than 7-8 animals that live in the real Arctic tundra) Overall a great book that I read to my disabled client because we are learning about winter and animals that can live in cold places. I used the book to point out key words we could put into our vocabulary and spelling. *Disclaimer: I was given this book for my 100% honest review.*

This is a picture book with short references for each photograph or picture based on the idea that a child will easy remember the concept by just looking into the picture related to that concept taught.An excellent publication addressed to small children that can be used for teaching purposes and as a source to share a good lecture with your kids. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Good book to read with nice photos. By Jones Family I just finished reading this ebook Animals of the Arctic Tundra: Polar Region Wildlife. This book is full of large beautiful photos that are very clear and crisp and easy to see. Each page has a big photo along with a spot that holds information about the animal that is in the photo. When you turn the page, the next two pages are a great big photo of the animal that you covered on the previous page. There are seven total animals covered in this ebook. I gave this book a three out of five stars due to the following reasons. First, I would have really liked to see more animals covered then the seven that they did. It would have been nice that instead of the second two page photo if they would have just used that space to cover another animal. I also felt like if they were going to take up four pages for one type of animal that it would have been nice for them to include a little more information about that animal then what is included. But overall, the pictures are beautiful and it is a very nice book to look through. I would say that this book would be good for kids aged one through nine. Children to young to read will enjoy looking a the big beautiful photos and kids that are old enough to read will enjoy learning a couple bits of information about the animals. Even though I received this book for free in exchange for my opinion, this is truly my honest and unbiased opinion of the book, after reading it for myself.

FOR THE PRICE, this is the best value I've seen in gift Bibles. Cheap enough to order a dozen for gifts, when appropriate. Based upon KJV, yet much more readable - today's reader is not a scholar of old English literature. Critics are right - it's not leather-bound, it's IMITATION leather. Gilded edges. Jesus' words in letters. All that, and a concordance, to boot! It's also under $3, shipping included! How do they do that? I don't know, but I'm ordering more before they triple the price - it would still be a reasonable value at $9.

Bad policy for replacement of defective 2 By big dad pages 180-230 chopped off on the bottom, defective, but to ship back and get a replacement would cost me more than the book!! Bad policy for replacement of defective 2.95 paperback book. Definitely not happy, also word so tiny, cant read without a magnifying glass. KL

Great addition to the genre By Lucidity My thoughts early on in the book were mainly that the plot was stood out to me as being interesting, unique and original. I’m glad to come across an author that isn’t afraid to think outside of the box and try something new and different, and the end result is a read that is hard to predict from each scene to the next and intriguing enough that it stays engaging and captivating essentially from start to finish. As well as this, I think that Chance Kearney is a perfect protagonist for the story and he contrasts excellently with the whole mood of the read – he’s also got a few qualities that I personally found to be relatable to myself which is, of course, always a bonus.In summary, I am quite impressed with the author and I ultimately consider “Outer Worlders” to be a great addition to the YA genre.

I found myself laughin a little at some of the things they said and did. The author really seemed to understand hand to hand combat and I felt they understood some basic martial arts.

It jumps right into the story and pulls you through its pages without ever getting boring. It has interesting and unique characters, each explored and developed to satisfaction. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A Very Real Collection By Just a Teacher This was just the quick read that feels appropriate as the fourth of July approaches. I don't know about you, but any celebration of The USA makes me think about our soldiers and their contributions.Quick note before we get to the meat of the review: Given the disclaimer at the description: "It's a no fuss, no muss, keeping it real, compilation of 25 uplifting, feel-good narratives, shared by various members of the Military, active or retired." I prepared myself for numerous typos, spelling errors and grammar headaches. Few were found! This was essentially written where each "chapter" was the story / voice of one person. Since it is in their "voice," it is informal, but not at all distracting.OK, as for reading. I would argue that these aren't all short stories. In a few cases the person simply says what they liked about being a soldier, what they learned, or what they would have changed. If you're expecting 25 plots, you won't find that. You will find 25 different perspectives about what being a soldier did for each person...which is just as uplifting to read.I am not sure I can pinpoint a specific emotion the stories evoke. Some of the chapters were intriguing, others sad, others inspiring. Each person seemed to get something different out of it, and in turn they gave something different to me.

A Must Read about Military Families By Judi This book is written by the same author as, "A true story, Stolen Inheritance: Oil, Army and Murder" I really enjoyed the story, "Stolen Inheritance".The stories makes me feel good, These moving and heart-felt stories, tells about brave, young men and women, in the military, fighting for our freedom.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. GREAT BOOK, A MUST-READ!! By Francis Geaslen I enjoy reading Patriotic books, especially around our patriotic holidays. This book was very inspirational and made me feel thankful to all of our current and past members of the military forces. I also found another book by this author LHandLG. I highly recommend STOLEN INHERITANCE, which is an exciting biography, of one individual who served in the military. She learned discipline and overcame many earlier hardships in her life.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A satisfying read By DMO I assume you have read the general description of the storyline. Although this book can be read as a stand alone, I would suggest reading the first book in the story in order to better understand relationships and history between the characters. This story begins a few months after the first one ends and involves the sister of the male protagonist in the previous book. There are some twists so be careful not to read reviews with spoilers. The story is driven by thought and conversation more than visual description. That said, there is description as seen through the eyes of the protagonists view. It moves continually without getting mundane and boring. The Christian thread is moderate and non preachy. It's shown through life choices (and regrets), prayer, church attendance, scripture reference and personal renewal. The subject is done realistically with human imperfection. You'll find some editing errors that are quite a surprise in a story of this quality by a well established author. I didn't notice any logistical errors. There were some vague references to info found on a computer that was never clarified. Personally I would rather have vague references than facts that don't fit logistically. There is a little bit of mystery that remains unsolved but it doesn't interfere with a satisfying ending. I suspect we'll find out in a future book but I won't lose any sleep over it if it remains unsolved. I believe a book should earn its stars by quality, not fan base. If not for editing errors this one would have been a five. Don't let that stop you from reading it. It's a good story that gives you that 'sigh' that romance readers crave. I laughed out loud and shed a few tears. I'm glad I read it.

Another great read by Kimberly Rae Jordan By jskully Second in the new series and I was counting down the days to find on my device since it was a pre-order.I was not disappointed at all! I loved how she brought Brooke's story to life and still allowed her to be a strong, independent woman. As always great characters, enough twists to make you keep reading yet wondering if that really was foreshadow or not, and a lovely romance.Spoiler alert: The only thing I would have like added was to hear the actual words of forgiven said and not just implied between Brooke and her father.The only thing left to say is; when will the next one be out?
