Yet for some, the journey begins and ends with acceptance and a personal relationship is never nurtured or allowed to develop. So do you believe and can you talk easily about what you believe in and why?Christianity.com reported "Bible illiteracy is a scandal" based on 2014 surveys that revealed most people couldn't name every one of the disciples or list all Ten Commandments and some even thought “Sodom and Gomorrah were a married couple." In the March 2016 issue of U.S. News, Alan Neuhauser reported, "Prayer, Belief in God Sinks to All-Time Low in U.S...according to decade's long surveys" taken from 1972 to 2014.However, Randy Frazee senior pastor of San Antonio, Texas Oak Hills Church still believes the Bible is "the greatest story ever told." To encourage Bible reading he condensed The Story Bible into a story format of scriptural truths. That book led to The Story Church Campaign in 2014 and the release of Believe Storybook: Think, Act, Be Like Jesus, Believe Kid's Edition and Believe Student Edition in 2015. What follows are two positive and one negative review of the three books. **********'Believe Student Edition: Living the Story of the Bible to Become Like Jesus,' General Editor, Randy Frazee, Zondervan, 2015, 352 Pages, 978-0310745617, $16.99The Student's edition of Believe follows the same format as the "Believe Storybook" and kids edition except the target audience is older teens and young adults. The student edition uses the New NIV 2011 translation of "gender-neutrality" that to me supports the current, often confusing social agenda of our times caused by political correctness. I would have preferred the 1984 NIV translation without the "gender-neutrality" bias.For that reason I wouldn't use the student's edition of "Believe," but would instead adopt the "Believe" stories and format and use them with another Bible translation, such as the NIrV or another reader-friendly version. **********I really like the concept and format behind these much needed and beautifully illustrated books. The biblical blueprint they provide is important with their teaching that "the words of God can change you as you learn to think, act, and become more like Jesus." However, I can only recommend "Believe Storybook" and "Believe Kid's edition, which are exceptional.

By Marsha Randolph Randy Freeze is the General Editor of a series of books that tell the story of Jesus from Genesis to Revelations using selections from the New International Version of the Bible. BELIEVE STUDENT EDITION is specifically written for young people (this copy is going to my 10 year old granddaughter) to develop a foundational knowledge of Christianity.There are three sectional concepts: Think- Act- Be which are taught in each of the “Believe” Bible commentary / study guides. Each chapter that falls under the concept introduces a Bible truth which is age appropriate. For example: Chapter 13 “Act” discusses Bible study. In each chapter has: Key Question; Key Idea; Key Verse; Text which includes Bible verses from Old and New Testament; and concludes with What We Believe.The order in which information is presented makes perfect sense and I am confident that anyone, young or old, reading this book will have a better understanding of what it means to be a Christian.This book can be read independently by either a novice or a person that has read the Bible before. It can also be used in church as part of the Bible Study curriculum.I have reviewed the adult version of Believe- “BELIEVE LIVING THE STORY OF THE BIBLE TO BECOME LIKE JESUS”; The children’s version: “BELIEVE STORYBOOK” and now this one ‘BELIEVE STUDENT EDITION, I like each. If you are not a fan of the NIV Bible you may not enjoy this book however the advantage of having anyone read BELIEVE STUDENT EDITION is to get him or her interested in reading the Bible.I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing each of the BELIEVE books.

Pressure from outsiders and from ones self can make day-to-day living a maze of uncertainty. But what if there were a way to help our teens navigate that path? When they were younger we were so diligent about reading them Bible stories before bed but now that they are older it is easy to set that aside. I say let's not slip into the idea of entrusting others to guide our teens. Instead let's engage them with Scripture and show them that there is a plan and they are part of it.Randy Frazee's Believe Student Edition is a great tool to begin an in depth study on what the Bible says about how we as Christians should think, act, and be. It goes along with the other editions of the books and curriculum so that you could easily incorporate it into a family study. Each of the thirty chapters cover the exact same topics that the adult and kids' editions cover. The only difference is that the writing is being addressed to the teenage audience it was designed for.I say that this would be perfect for a family study but I also think it would be a very useful study in youth groups as well. There is a whole student curriculum DVD study that goes along with it that would help introduce each topic to the entire group.I would recommend this to any family with teenagers or any group that works with teenagers. The study of God's Word will give them a solid foundation and an assurance of who they are and what is expected of them in the body of Christ.I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review.

Pat Schatzline is a great man of God who has a heart for everyone to come to know a Heavenly Father who loves them & has called them to a life of purpose. This book is great for anyone who thinks God can't use them because of their past failures, or their lack of a spiritual resume, etc. but it's also a great reminder for those who think they've "got it together" as well.Unqualified on the surface, speaks to the underdog, the Remnant, who are the ones others would never suspect God could use, the ones with scars & shady pasts. But it goes much deeper than the "obvious" unqualified.What I mean by that is, there are definitely people with crazy testimonies of God's deliverance in their lives or maybe they have certain "flaws" that one might think, "Yeah, that's who he's talking about in this book. They're definitely unqualified."But the thing is, none of us are qualified, and so to some, the lesson learned in this book may be, "How could God use me? I'm a nobody- I'm unqualified." But for others, "Wow, I thought I was somebody on my own. But I am nothing without Him. I am unqualified. Now that I know this, God can really begin to use me." It's a great reminder for anyone that wants to be used by God. You find that because of your lack of qualifications, You are empowered with His qualifications.

The cover is absolutely remarkable when you see it on the actual book. Once again you have done a GREAT job with writing another timely message. A MUST, MUST, MUST read for sure!

Middleton While he certainly knows his stuff based on his life of ministry experience.. this would hardly encourage me to step out as it is 80% written as if you will become a full time pastor or ministry leader. More warnings than inspiration.(1) Very weak on 'how to' go from unqualified to useful? Loads of wisdom on what to avoid... but what happens when you have never had a prophetic Word to tell you your life's calling? Seems like every person, and this is no exception, that writes one of these books has had some 'power encounter' or heavenly intervention.. what happens to those that have not had such encounters? (2) Andnot everyone like The Message... it IMO is so far removed from a realistic translation it is pure distraction. You need to flip open your own Bible to figure out what the heck the passage REALLY said! Example, how is 'weapons' ever equal "God tools"?! Or 'fortress' equals "cave" ... huh?! Although it does significantly help speed the books reading.. as you can quickly skip over each quote labeled 'The Message'.

About the Author J.R. Vikse is a Canadian author, who, after years of creating stories using nothing but his imagination and superfluous piles of Lego, finally decided to try his hand at writing them down. Whether it works out or not is up to you. He was an early reader, since there wasn't ever much else to do during Canadian winters, but he didn't get into serious writing until his 20s. By Hadrianna I enjoyed this book immensely and often found it difficult to put it down (a perfect example of the "Just one more chapter ..."-problem). The two main characters, stemming from different time periods and yet forced to work together to solve the mystery of their strange appearance in the world of Tranthaea, are interesting to follow and almost seem to take on a life of their own during their journey - the author did an impressive job at staying in character with the both of them as well as with several side characters that help drive the adventure along. As the story unfurled, I was quickly drawn into the fascinating fantasy world that the author has created and that is presented both through the eyes of the newcomers and through the existing knowledge of its inhabitants, allowing the reader to slowly piece together the layout of the lands, the history of its people and, most importantly, the current predicament that is threatening Tranthaea. Add to this dramatic plot twists, grippingly written battle scenes and characters that you can't help but grow fond of (or detest - but I don't want to give away any spoilers) and you have a fantasy tale that will keep you glued to the pages.

It has characters that you feel like you really get to know, plot twists that keep you guessing at each turn and a brand new world to wrap your head around. The author's imagination and creativity draw you into the story as you see the world he has created. The clash of time periods as well as a new environment/world keep Callum And Jingwei in a constant state of flux as they work to discover where they are and why they are there.Intrigue, action, humor and creatures are all here making a very enjoyable read. Fast paced and entertaining, this will be a hard book to put down.The first of a trilogy, I can't wait for Volume 2.ProGuy

As the story unfolds and the reader discovers, along with the main characters, a world unlike anything. And, while the location may be new and intriguing, universal life experiences don't seem so different. Love, courage, sacrifice, greed and pride, all play a role as good struggles against evil.I would highly recommend for readers who enjoy Narnia or The Hobbit. Completely appropriate for middle school to high school age kids but still engaging enough for adults.

Set during the Great Depression, the story weaves cultural, economic, and political unrest into Esperanza's poignant tale of growing up: she witnesses strikes, government sweeps, and deep injustice while finding strength and love in her family and romance with a childhood friend. The symbolism is heavy-handed, as when Esperanza ominously pricks her finger on a rose thorne just before her father is killed. But Ryan writes movingly in clear, poetic language that children will sink into, and the books offers excellent opportunities for discussion and curriculum support. The main character,Esperanza, is a wealthy young Mexican girl that has grown up on a ranch called El Rancho de las Rosas near Aguascalientes, Mexico. She is used to the care-free life of riches and privileges, surrounded by her loving parents, Ramona and Sixto Ortega, parties, dolls, servants, and silk dresses. But everything changes when one night, a day before Esperanza's 13th Birthday, her father is killed by the bandits.Esperanza, her mother, and Abuelita (grandmother) find themselves in a very precarious position - they cannot own the ranch without Papa, a man, a head of the family. Espiranza's evil uncles take over the land, and one of them suggests that Ramona should get married to him. When Esperanza's mother refuses the proposal, their mansion gets set on fire at night, leaving them with nothing at all. Esperanza and her mother had no choice but to leave Mexico and flee to a migrate camp of agricultural work in California, leaving behind Abuelita and their riches and privileges. Instead, experiences of loss, poverty, separation, prejudice, humiliation and fear surround Esperanza on the way to her new life. She is no longer a princess but a worker. What's even more, her mother gets very sick, and Esperanza has to work hard to pay the hospital bills. Will she manage the long hours of work and months of separation from her mother and Abuelita? Will she find a way to rise from ashes and make a new life for herself?Set against the multi-ethnic, labor-organizing era of the Depression, the story of Esperanza remaking herself is deeply touching and emotional. Most of all, It's a story about hope and perseverance (esperanza means "hope" in Spanish). The author also touches upon the the Dust Bowl, social reform, Mexican Deportation Act, discrimination and prejudice to foreigners.Inspired by the experiences of author's own Mexican grandmother, this compelling story of immigration and assimilation is written in deeply authentic voice. The descriptive writing paints a well detailed picture for the reader. For the ENGLISH version be sure to order simply *Esperanza RISING*.Esperanza Rising is a wonderful coming-of-age novel set in the Great Depression, first in Mexico, then in Southern California. Esperanza is a young Mexican girl from a well-to-family, accustomed to being spoiled and always getting her way. When the family is forced to split up and flee the country for the States, will Esperanza have what it takes to help her family cross the border illegally, farm in the hot California sun and take care of the young children? You must read to find out!P.S. This novel is great for teaching grade school students about the Depression and immigration.

So I tried to search books about buddhism and I found this book by Dominique Atkinson. Upon reading the book, I learned that Buddhism is considered one of the first organized religions arising in the 4th and 5th centuries. It was founded 2,500 years ago by Siddhartha Gotama, commonly known as Buddha. Well written, one of best reference about Buddhism!

Sharp-looking Bible for young men By Michael Lee The “Guys Slimline Bible, New Living Translation” is a nice, sleek Bible that would make for a great gift…especially with graduations approaching. Here’s what it’s like:General Description – overall, this Bible’s appearance is very classy!Cover: two-tone (black and blue) leather – very nice, very manly.Dimensions: approximately 7/8” thick (x) 5-5/8” wide (x) 8” tallWeight: approximately 1 poundBinding: The exterior binding has black, subdued imprint of “HOLY BIBLE”.Text Font: Lucerna, according to the copyright information page.Font size: approximately 10 point (I couldn’t figure it out exactly, but it’s a tad small. It’s notTOO small that it strains my eyes, but it’s not children’s book font size, either.Column widths: There are two columns per page, and each column measures approximately 2-3/16” wide.Red Letter edition: meaning that all of Jesus’s spoken words are in easy-to-find red letters.There is a single, blue, nylon page marker attached to the binding.The Bible I received arrived in a slip-in cardboard cover, which would make for easy gift-wrapping.The exterior of the pages are all glossy silver tipped.General ContentsAside from all the legal pages and book index is an introduction to how the New Living Translation was derived. It provides a nice, concise history that may prove interesting/beneficial to some. Others will probably skip right past it.This Bible does not contain any lengthy footer commentaries. That can be good OR bad, depending how you look at it. However, it does contain some brief cross references in the page footers.The back of the Bible contains a “Dictionary/Concordance” and a couple neat features that I like: “Great Chapters of the Bible” and “Great Verses of the Bible to Memorize”. This gives someone who might be a new or young believer a place to start in their studies or memorization.For those who are interested in reading through the Bible in a year, this one contains a 365-Day Reading Plan in the back as well.Finally, the color maps are last in this Bible. The coolest map of all (in my opinion) is the one titled, “Ministry of Jesus”. In that map, key interactions (and locations) of Jesus that we find in the pages of scripture are plotted on the map by a single letter, which are then crossed referenced back to the chapter/verse account narrative in the sidebar. So, if you were to look at just the map and put your finger on Bethsaida, you’d find the letter “H”. In the sidebar, the “H” then reads, “Bethsaida: (1) possible location of feeding of multitudes (Mt 14:13-21…); (2) blind man healed (Mk 8:22-26). I thought this was a REALLY great idea!Price: The book sleeve/cover lists this Bible at $24.99Rating: I give this one 4 stars. I really like it, but didn’t fall in LOVE with it. (It is less than 1" thick.) It would make a great gift.The cover is TuTone (imitation leather) in a very dark charcoal gray (almost black) and blue chevron with dark gray stitching. The cover is soft and flexible and feels well-made. The dark gray portion of the cover feels like you would expect imitation leather to feel like, but the blue portion has a faint texture that gives a slight "record scratching" sound effect when you run your fingernails over it. It is an attractive combination of materials. Inside, there is a presentation page. The pages of the Guys Slimline Bible NLT have silver edging. The Guys Slimline Bible NLT comes in a paper sleeve (not a hard box) and also includes an attached ribbon bookmark. Aside from the paper sleeve, there is only a small line on the copyright page referring to this as a "guys" Bible.The Guys Slimline Bible NLT has black text (including headings) with the words of Christ in red, and is laid out in two columns. This is the Holy Bible, New Living Translation (© 1996, 2004, 2007, 2013) version of the Bible. The text seems to be slightly smaller than standard size, but is not too small (in my opinion). There are footnotes throughout.There are 8 full-color maps on coated pages at the back (like you might find in many Bibles), along with a few other helpful resources like: "Dictionary/Concordance" (54 pages), "Great Chapters of the Bible" (1 page), "Great Verses of the Bible to Memorize" (3 pages), and "365-Day Reading Plan" (4 pages).The Guys Slimline Bible NLT has the basics you need (plus a few extras), wrapped up in a nice cover. The distractions of media and entertainment are strong, and asking a teenager to sit down quietly to read the Bible is, well, about as much fun as forcing them to mow the lawn. Fortunately, there is a brand-new resource available from Tyndale Publishing House that make our job as Christian parents MUCH easier.If you've read the New Living Translation at all, you know that it is very easy to understand - especially for younger readers. This Bible leaves out the traditional "Thees" and "Thous," helping tweens and teens connect with the heart of the message instead of losing them in the language.The Guy's slimline Bible is a slender, 5.5" x 8" sized book with a leather-like feel to it. A wipe-clean softcover with a jazzy chevron design, it lays flat when opened (i.e., it won't "shut off" until your teen does!) - a nice, easy-reading feature. AND this Bible has an extra feature that makes it really stand out: there's a 365-day reading plan right in the back of the Bible, so your child can read through the Bible in one year without having to refer to a separate book or reading plan!As a mom who's always hoping to find new ways to make the Bible come alive to my kids, here's how I would use this resource. First, I'd give it as a gift. Birthdays and Graduations are great times to surprise your kids with something "new!" And then, I'd ask them to commit to reading just 20 verses a day, following the 365-day plan in the back of the Bible. (If you're super-motivated, you can read the same chapters with your teen and use them as a dinnertime or family quiet-time conversation-starter.)There is a dictionary and concordance in the back of the Bible, along with full-color maps to help your child understand what he is reading. Still not convinced? There's also a list in the back called "Great Verses in the Bible to Memorize." In the summertime, I typically require my kids to memorize scripture verses each day. This list could become a handy "cheat sheet" to help you find key verses that will be meaningful to them as they go through their Christian walk.The Guys Slimline Bible is discreet enough to tuck into a backpack, tough enough to take a beating, and "cool" enough to look good when it's in use. By TN Buyer in many series that span a couple of decades, the main characters in book one are relegated to hardly-mentioned status by the last book in the series , especially if they are the matriach and patriarch of the clan--not in this series. Anna and Michael are just as vibrant and necessary to the story as they are to their children in book five as they were in book one. And they are as in love at 65 as they were at 40! For an almost-senior, this is refreshing. This is a very feel-good romance laced with a little drama and mystery.

They had a wonderful story line and also reminded you over and over how great is our God. When I finished the last one for several days I felt like I was missing part of my family. Diane Lil Adams is a very talented Author. Thank you Ms. Adams for these books. I am now reading another one of you books and am enjoy it.

Great Series By Linda Rainey I loved this series spanning a few decades about Anna and Michael and their families in the setting of a juvenile detention center in the Missouri Ozarks.I loved this family and how the Lord worked in their lives and the lives of those at the detention center.

By Karen *** Gifted in exchange for an Honest Review ***And so we continue the Novella series where the Alpha's are Females and again its different to see that the women have a prominent place in Pack hierarchy.Sisters Charlie and Regan are training for the contest to see who will lead the pack, Regan is busy trying to find away to win without killing Charlie But Charlie has other ideas, and has been secretly training with Owen. We find out more about Owen in this installment, and I did see this twist coming, but it did not spoil my enjoyment of the series.the story moves at a steady pace, we get to see the sisters interact together, and see that the dynamics in the Vampire world are not all what they appear to be, and I enjoyed the scene in the antique shop, and we have a mystery stalker too, I wonder who it will turn out to be - hopefully all will be revealed in book 3.Again I am rooting for Charlie, she is more enamored to my sympathies as I always like to cheer for the underdog, and to be honest Regan is a bit of an arrogant girl, I guess that's from her upbringing, but she does seem to be a bit dense when it comes to Carters feelings!The Council have their own agenda with the fight I am sure, especially Regan's mums so called best friend... she would be Alpha if something were to happen to the girls.Regan and Charlies dad is as closed off as ever, we really do not get much of a glimpse of his character, in fact he seems a bit flat as a character - I think this is a bit of a let down for me, I want to know why the females are the leaders, not the men? This I feel is a point that could have been explored more, but this is a Teen book so I guess its more about the angst, training and the tension of unrequited love. Hopefully we get to find out more in book 3.I am still team Charlie but by the end of book 2 I am doubtful of whether she will have the resolve to get vicious and ruthless to win, after all she couldn't kill Bambi's mum ( thank goodness!)I have a lot of questions left unanswered by the end of the book, I guess I will find out in Book 3 (which is up for pre-order now)I look forward to seeing how the series ends.

This one of the best novella series that I have ever read By Kelly's Nerdy Obsession ~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~I'm not going to lie... This one of the best novella series that I have ever read. This is a book/series that will stay with you until you get your next fix. Now that, that is out of the way... Part 2 is so much awesomeness wrapped up in one awesome book. I really can't give the review I want because it would giveaway so much. You are just going to have to read it to fid out!!This is a continuation of Bitterroot Part 1. In this installment, we see that Charlie is friends with Owen-the vampire, and enemy of the rest of her now pack. She doesn't understand why, all she see is her friend and maybe something more. In the book we see both Reagen and Cahrlie prepare for their up coming challenge with each other. We see who is really on whose side.Heather and S.M. are masters at keeping you in suspense. I couldnt' wait for part 2 after I read part 1, now I am sitting patiently for part 3. You will NOT be disappointed with this installment.

By ManicMommy The second part to this trilogy was just as delicious as the first, and left me salivating for the conclusion. As the two sister's battle draws closer, they're both prepping their hardest in order to win. Unfortunately the secrets they keep from each other may lead to the downfall of the things they both want most. In the end, the cliffhanger ending will leave you screaming for more.

Great first cookbook for kids By Erin Lee My daughters love this cookbook, and I love that they can make everything by themselves with minimal help from me. (Not that I mind helping, but I enjoy fostering their independence!) The recipes are simple, yet tasty. They have even encouraged my daughters to try some new foods. Five stars!

Kids love it, Parents...good luck (Don't buy this) By Anelley My 4 year old has been getting more into wanting to cook with me so her grandmother gave her this cookbook set as a gift. My daughter LOVES it. She wants to "cook" from it everyday! I, her mother, have begun to loathe it.First off, this is not a cookbook with recipes. It is more of a book of instructions for putting together food items. With a cookbook, I can usually go to my pantry and I have the ingredients that will make up the item I want to make. Like let's say, cookie ice cream sandwiches, which is one of the "recipes" in this book. Well ok, I can make cookies and we have ice cream and sprinkles. But no, the instructions are to have cookies ALREADY, and you put the ice cream on the cookies. Voilá! You have "cooked!" Can you see the face I'm making right about now? Ok, so my daughter was gung ho about these ice cream sandwiches. I went out and bought the cookies, we had ice cream, and then sprinkles and put it all together andddd, it was a big melting mess and got half eaten and then all over the place.So far she's made me the cookie sandwiches and a vinaigrette salad dressing that no one wants to eat. However my daughter expects me to drink it. I've hidden it and hopes she will forget about it.The book only has 5 recipe sections: sandwiches, snacks, salad dressings/dips, desserts and drinks. Other than snacks my daughter doesn't really eat a lot of salad or sandwiches. And we try to cut down on sugar, of which almost ALL of the recipes contain more than I'm comfortable with.I've included some pictures to prove my point that while kids may love this, their parents won't. For the most part the recipes are hard for kids to make (especially the sandwiches) and are foods your kids won't eat or you wouldn't want them to eat. Moreover, so many of the recipes you have to buy too many readymade ingredients to make, which makes it costly and a bit ridiculous. A trail mix that requires you to buy at least 3 different types of cereal, of which you will use only 1 cup each?! Uh... Maybe for large groups, scout troops or older kids. But this book in the hands of my 4 year old is the bane of my culinary existence.1 star because the pictures are nice and my daughter likes it, and a 2nd star because the stackable measuring cups are alright for kids, though almost useless because the smallest is a tablespoon.

Blood pressure, breathing rate, heart rate, metabolism and muscle tension are lowered, calmed or relaxed, while brainwaves slip into calming levels. Meditation can treat all sorts of conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome, chrome pain, anxiety, panic attacks and chronic fatigue. One form of meditation, called mindfulness meditation, is particularly good for relieving stress. Many people take meditation for granted because of common misconceptions. Mistakenly seen by some people as just a “hippy” philosophy from the sixties, meditation is not about switching your mind off to achieve some kind of enlightenment. In reality, it is simply a heightened, more focused form of what we naturally do to unwind. Think of it as achieving a high level of awareness. Mindfulness meditation is a powerful way of reorganizing your emotional responses, replacing destructive thought patterns with a more constructive and therefore more positive viewpoint. Retraining yourself out of a tendency toward negative reactions is an empowering experience. Experts developed cognitive therapies to treat depression, and they based it on the idea that our emotional responses depend, far more than we realize, on the way we think. In a difficult emotional situation, we might cry, be angry or feel fear or sadness, depending on our thoughts. Becoming “cognizant,” or aware, of your thought patterns offers an alternative and, many would argue, faster route to well-being than other “talking cures.” Many people find it easier to change their thinking than they do to change their emotional processes. As anyone who has been through any analytical therapy can attest to, digging deep can be a painful and difficult process that might even lead to taking a few emotional steps back before making progress. Creative visualization is a vital component with mindfulness for anxiety. Visualization is a way to focus your imagination in order to create what you want in your life. You can also direct it toward healing and resolving anxiety and phobias. You may find that visualization is a skill you already use in your everyday life, even if unconsciously. For example, if you have an appointment with the bank manager tomorrow and feel a little anxious about this meeting, you may be playing out the situation in your mind and rehearsing the possible conversation. Mindfulness exercises will play a crucial role in easing your anxiety.

By Waki Taylor Improve Your Life Through Mindfulness is a book on Mindfulness that will surely help in getting rid of stress and anxiety and in achieving peace. What is worth mentioning about this book is that it has presented some simple BUT powerful techniques of Mindfulness that are proven effective already.The topics covered in this book are enough proof and guarantee that one will achieve the technique, once read and understood. It has taught readers how to meditate too, how to be positive by applying cognitive thinking, learning more about NLP, as well as improving concentration, and so much more. This book is a worthy purchase, something to learn a lot from.

I learned several things I didn't know about mindfulness, I got the feeling it was a more advanced teaching than the usual beginner's guides.Mind mapping is a technique I've been working with the last few days and I'm finding it super helpful. Mindful eating (opting for drinks that include juices is a good one) is also an area this book goes into with more depth than I'd read before. So if you're new to mindfulness techniques, you may find the guidance in this book challenging, but if you're ready for the next step, this one is for you.
