By Marylin I loved this book and how Susan May Warren presented the story of two people and God's plans for their lives.Ellen thought her live was going just great until Paul came around and reminded her of a stirring in her heart that she had when she was younger. He made her question if she was doing all that she could. Ellen also challenged Paul to look at his own thoughts regarding missionary work.....especially in regards to women.It was a fun book and I could relate to it because I have been a short-term missionary.

Fantabulous story - A++++++++++++++++++++++++ By Joelle I don't know where Kimberly Rae Jordan keeps getting these fantabulous stories, but she should be an emotional wreck... I know I am when I get through reading them. (only in a good way). Than and Lindsey's story was thought provoking and pulled you right in (especially if you're read any of the other books, but not a requirement to sense the undercurrents) to every nuance, emotion, and thought they had concerning each other. Watching their story unfold and seeing them gain a deeper understanding of each other and themselves at the same time was inspiring to say the least. I am a great fan of anything this author writes, but in all honesty, her work keeps getting better and better. I can hardly stand it!

By Salt I have read the three in this series and was pleasantly surprised that i enjoyed the latest of the series best!Exciting, but not over the top and quite interesting. I appreciated the take on a mission trip to the Philippines and the sparking love match between the handsome bodyguard and the intriguing heiress.Wonderful to have this balance of depth and light heartedness in a wholesome christian romantic read.Ms Jordan I am definitely a fan ! I have read, all your ebooks till date! You have been blessed as you grow better and better in churning out such lovely inspirational fiction!

Great plot, adventure, and characters that you end up feeling like you personally know them.Having been to the Philippians on a missions trip this book ended up being very special to me. I recognized some of the emotions and experiences Lindsay experienced.I only give 5 stars if I'm likely to read the story again. This one along with the rest of the series I'll be reading again.Additionally, I so appreciated Ms. Jordan's help in getting the updated version since Amazon has not yet updated the pre-orders. Thank you!

About the Author C. Walker Gollar is a professor of Catholic history and theology at Xavier University in Cincinnati. He holds a Ph.D. in historical theology from the University of Saint Michael’s College, Toronto; an M.A. in theological studies from the University of Dayton; and a B.S. in psychology from Xavier University. He has published extensively in academic journals and historical publications, and speaks widely on topics relevant to both history and Catholicism.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A great academic start that weakens into an apologist piece for progressive Catholicism By Dcn. Brandon Bredice- Justice Gollar's early research is impeccable; a more than commendable effort tracking the genesis of Catholics in Maryland, the exodus to Bardstown and the dioceses that sprang forth and exploded from humble, albeit at times immoral beginnings. Gollar's book doesn't pull any punches when it comes to slave owning and trading especially among the early Jesuits and identifies the 'secondary' type of slavery where education, baptism and catechesis stood out within the evil institution. Unfortunately, Gollar should have stopped writing right around chapter ten when his excellent balanced research begins to turn into a progressive bias and by the start of chapter 12 you find yourself wondering where and how this turned into an agenda piece. If you understand the church as suffering from vocations, held back by a bastion of traditionalists like John Paul & Benedict and celebrate ideas like optional celibacy and the power of 'nuns on the bus' you'll love his 20th century conclusions. My suggestion is to stop after chapter 9 and switch to "American Church" by Russell Shaw for a deeper understanding especially of contemporary Catholicism in America.

By Cynthia Bernard This is an excellent book, although it relates a sad story. It is very well written. It gives great insight to the health care worker who only sees the patient and his family during an office visit or a hospitalization. It raises ones awareness as to what daily life is like at home for both the patient with a terminal illness and the patient's loved ones. . . . the thoughts, feelings and emotions one goes through. It also stresses how much ones faith helps get the patient and family through these very stressful times . . . and how much the support of friends can help both the patient and the family. I hightly recommend this book for anyone, but particularly those caring for or treating patients with terminal illnesses.

An indispensable addition to your Lenormand library and for anyone interested in Lenormand.I received a free update on my kindle edition and have ordered the paperback version. This book has so much new substance to it I think it's worthwhile for anyone who liked the early versions to purchase the 2015 revision. As a reader who incorporates the playing card insets in my readings I particularly enjoy his expertise in this area.

It's not overly long, simply because the information is straight to the point. No padding or superficial filler. Both the detail on card meanings and the description of reading methods are very helpful. With a nod to the tradition and history of Lenormand this book gives a fresh perspective and takes it forward.
