For many years I struggled to find real, lasting joy. Whenever I achieved a goal that I believed would bring me happiness I would find that the happiness I sought had moved somewhere else: to the next job, the next college degree, the next completed project, the next success. Never the current one. It was a discouraging way to live, and my dissatisfaction fueled a desire for change. Through books, mentors, good friends and spiritual guidance I learned how to transform my beliefs and thoughts and reshape the emotions and actions that determine my results and create the reality in which I live. I've experienced greater peace, fulfillment and success as I've worked to internalize these life-giving truths. I am excited to share them with you, and I hope they will bless your life as they've blessed mine.

"We need to develop a new synthesis capable of overcoming the false arguments of recent centuries. Christianity, in fidelity to its own identity and the rich deposit of truth which it has received from Jesus Christ, continues to reflect on these issues in fruitful dialogue with changing historical situations. In doing so, it reveals its eternal newness." [from the encyclical letter Laudato Si'] Pope Francis' ground-breaking encyclical letter on the environment caught the attention of the world. Many observers were surprised to see the Catholic Church addressing such topics. Others perhaps wondered: what is an encyclical anyway? What Pope Francis' latest major statement has also brought into public view is the long and powerful tradition of Catholic reflection on society and its arrangements--economic, political, social and now environmental--known as Catholic social teachings, the "unexploded dynamite of the Church," as Catholic social activist Peter Maurin once put described them. In their modern form, these documents date from Pope Leo XIII's Rerum Novarum (1891) and continue down through the papacies of St. John Paul II, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis. In answer to the pope's call for "a new synthesis" comes this highly accessible work. Author Daniel Schwindt also supplies a brief but succinct historical background for this remarkable and influential series of reflections on war and peace, social justice, economics and property, and much more.

A Must Read for Humans By Paul Grenier Usually it takes wading through more of a book to arrive at that point, but I fell in love with this book already in the introductory pages after coming across the following sentence:“In democratic ages every man is told to ‘think for himself.’ He is led to believe that the opinions he arrives at by the power of his own judgment are the supreme measure of truth in his world, with the end result that his opinions are formed almost entirely by voices emitting from his television set. “This is really a book that everyone should have, at least as much as one should have a copy of the U.S. Constitution. It need not be read from cover to cover. That’s not the way I have been reading it. I flip right away to the chapters I have need of, for example, to learn about the Church’s position on the inadequacies of both Capitalism and ‘Socialism’ (I would prefer the word communism here however, but the Encyclicals are what they are). The entries are fascinating, this is a wonderful resource. I am extremely grateful to the author for not giving this book the title: Papal Encyclicals for Dummies.

Crim The latest news is about ancient wisdom, as (once again) we discover the long tradition of reflection called Catholic social teachings. But no worries: they're not for theologians only! In fact, they're for business people, schoolchildren, doctors, lawyers and everybody else. The sources of Pope Francis' "new" teachings are ably summarized and made reader-friendly by Daniel Schwindt of Solidarity Hall. As Pope Francis tries to show: everything is connected!

Academic and contemporary By Suman C If you think you have an intuitive understaning of Catholic social teaching just because you are catholic, this book will probably re-align your thinking. It covers such a broad historical range that it is garanteed to challenge in quite a few areas if you've not done all this reading for yourself.

Collected here in this 8-in-1 omnibus edition are all of E. M. Bounds' powerful books. No one else wrote with such power and authority on prayer. These classic books continue to inspire and instruct us on all aspects of prayer and its uses in everyday Christian life. "Prayer has to do with the entire man. Prayer takes in man in his whole being, mind, soul and body. It takes the whole man to pray, and prayer affects the entire man in its gracious results. As the whole nature of man enters into prayer, so also all that belongs to man is the beneficiary of prayer. All of man receives benefits in prayer. The whole man must be given to God in praying. The largest results in praying come to him who gives himself, all of himself, all that belongs to himself, to God. This is the secret of full consecration, and this is a condition of successful praying, and the sort of praying which brings the largest fruits." -E. M. Bounds

The Complete Works of E. M. Bounds: Power Through Prayer; Prayer and Praying Men; The Essentials of Prayer; The Necessity of Prayer; The Possibilities ... Purpose in Prayer; The Weapon of Prayer, by E. M. Bounds

About the Author E. M. (Edward McKendree) Bounds (1835 1913) has given us

a powerful legacy of prayer, believing it to be the strongest link

between God and man. Bounds was a pastor and editor who

spent many years reading, writing, praying, and taking part in

revival ministry. Deeply concerned for the world, Bounds would

rise at 4 a.m. to pray. Since the time of the apostles, no man

besides Bounds has left such a rich inheritance of research into

the life of prayer.

Bounds and is missing 3 of his books on prayer. Missing from this collection are: "Prayer and Praying Men," "The Reality of Prayer" and "The Possibilities of Prayer." The layout of this book is also a bit awkward in places and the font size seems a bit small although it is still readable.

By James Sheets (Author of The Love Language of God: Loving God, God's Way) Foundational starting place for all who would have a prayer life that glorifies the Lord Jesus. I am the Director of the Atlanta South Metro House of Prayer, a night and day, city-wide prayer ministry. Oh, that every believer, pastor and leader would read and apply the Kingdom principles in this book, what a difference it would make in the lives and ministries of God's people!

Bounds but, was interested in different books on prayer and was very pleasantly surprised with this book. I like the fact that it is written with short chapters...which is necessary so you can really meditate upon each one. This is a book for laymen and pastors too.

Sanchez Wow, everyone out there- read this book; it will help uncover the ignorance and self-deception that so many fail to see deep from within. If we can admit we are all sinners, then we can admit that much of the sins we commit comes from a tongue lacking in prudence and fortitude.

Good Versus Evil By Avid Kindle User This story mixes science fiction, theology and the most interesting alliterative writing style I've seen in years. Climate change is no theory in this 22nd century world where glaciers have disappeared, shorelines have changed and Alaska is the land of opportunity. Religion survives in this nearly apocalyptic world, but its transformation shows how the basic Christian principles prevail. Harv Boal's writing style is fresh and lively, making this story's serious theme palatable and the reading experience pleasant.

“Whites Minds are in Chains.” Self-imposed. Amelioration for misplaced guilt based on a false belief that Whites enslaved Blacks; based on gross misperceptions of civil rights, discrimination, diversity, equal rights, fairness, racial hate, minorities, multiracial community, the concept of nation, privilege, racism. Ending White Slavery explains, exposes, and removes these shackles of White Slavery by invalidating the basic assumption of that enslavement: that Blacks are entitled to special consideration from Whites whose ancestors kidnapped them out of Africa, and transported them worlds away from their roots into slavery; revealing the slave trade as instigated and perpetuated by tribes of Africa against each other for their benefit and purpose; revealing that slave traders and owners were a miniscule percent of White population even in its time; revealing that mostly, the ancestors of today’s Whites had nothing to do with slavery and their ancestors were disadvantaged by slavery in lost employment and opportunity. Ending White Slavery demonstrates that atonement for slavery by today’s Whites is misguided, and detrimental to them and to Blacks as well. As for racial discrimination, is it not palpable in affirmative action, BET, the NAACP, the Miss Black America Pageant exclusivity to Blacks? Not so, the United Negro College Fund because its “member colleges and universities admit students without reference to race or ethnicity. UNCF's largest scholarship program, the Gates Millennium Scholars Program, supports Hispanic American, Asian/Pacific American and Native American students as well as African Americans,” but not Whites? Is there any affirmative action for Whites, a WET, a NAAWP, an exclusively Miss White America Pageant, a United Caucasian College Fund, any White college, a White History Month? Ending White Slavery exhorts all races to adhere to their culture, to be loyal to their race by eschewing integration and its consequent, inevitable mongrelization. For Whites this means preserving their recessive fair skin, blue or green eyes and blond, brown or red hair against being subsumed by genetically dominant black skin, brown eyes and black hair; revering and advancing their cultural heritage exemplified by Beethoven, Mozart, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Shakespeare and their progeny instead of bongo drums, parodies of poetry punctuated by profanity, crotch grabbing, and thumping cacophony. That is the goal, but after recognition and exhortation, what? The Racial State, exemplified by China, Japan other Asian States for Yellows, African States for Blacks, but no longer the United States for Whites. Israel is template for current creation of the Racial State, and its need, to preserve and secure White culture, White genes, and White lives in a world in which Whites are the minority, a world which has not a single State that Whites may call their own, where their best interests are represented exclusively. Ending White Slavery does not merely describe a Utopia and leave it there. It describes potentials for accomplishing the Racial State over time. A must read for everyone, not just Whites, who would look beyond the perverse immediacy of a mongrelizing false diversity of integration to a true diversity of racial separateness to preserve all races in all their natural genetic and cultural diversity.

By Billy Roper From inside the prison cell where he sits, many years after his wrongful conviction at the hands of a perjuring paid informant sent to entrap him, former attorney and activist Matt Hale speaks out for the first time in published form about the suicidal psychological conditioning which similarly imprisons Whites through their inculcated collective guilt and indoctrination. The three major chapters culminate in an explanation of the need to have a White nation, much like the one which I describe coming to fruition in my 'Hasten The Day' speculative fiction novel trilogy. This book should be required reading for all White Nationalists, and all patriots of Western Civilization and its founding people, not only in the U.S., but around the world. Read it, then tell your friends about how we can end White slavery!

As Matt Hale states on page 185 of his book, White people have no state of their own. It's also a fact that "the present governments and courts" of the United States and all other States in the world "have declared by word and deed that 'freedom' includes the 'right' to destroy" the culture of White people, their genetic existence, and their very lives. (See page 180). And it is a fact, as Matt Hale writes on page 179, "A black America is quite simply not what the Founding Fathers had in mind. An Oriental, Arab, Pakistani, Jewish America is quite simply not what the Founding Fathers had in mind."Yet, given these facts, it is also bluntly true, "Not one government of any of these States is willing to pass even one law with the aim of preserving and securing the culture genes, and lives of White people as White people.” (See page 170).Consequently, we White people "live in States where literally millions of White people have been assaulted at the hands of non-white attackers. We live in States that practically brag about how little they care about the White Race as a race.” And, as Matt Hale objectively states on page 199, "Many of us in the present have lost . . . roots because our neighborhoods have been overrun by those not of our race.”All of these facts and more can be obtained in reading the third chapter of "Ending White Slavery" entitled "Towards the Racial State."Why has this happened to White people? And what can be done about it?The answers to the first question can be found in Matt Hale's thought detailed in Chapter One, "Our Minds Are in Chains" and the answers to the second question, for the most part, are found in Chapter Three, already mentioned: create our own Racial State. The author states in case after case, situation after situation, time after time, that White people's minds are in chains. We White people suffer from racelessness and no other race suffers this condition as terribly or as badly. Everywhere White people are surrounded by racists, but White people are the only ones who get labeled "racists" and fear being called a racist. As Matt Hale explains on page 33 of Chapter One: "The black NAACP is racist, the brown National Council of La Raza (“The Race”) is racist, the White Ku Klux Klan is racist, “affirmative action” policies are racist, and even the U.S. census is racist (as it too makes racial distinctions) since all of these groups and policies make distinctions on the grounds of race. There is nothing negative about racism, inherently."And there isn't anything negative about racism, inherently. King and his professed civil rights movement, fought for the best interests of black people. But White people have come "to believe that power is bad whenever it is associated with Whites and yet on the other hand good when associated with non-whites.” (See page 78). White people, as the author correctly states on page 128, "have given up too much already in obeisance to the propaganda machine."It is monstrous that White people adulate the United States and its political idea of "freedom" while disregarding White people as a people. (See page 168-169). We White people are participating in our own slavery thereby. The author presents the White reader with the following question: Is the current political order, whether that of the United States or that of other States, conducive to the preservation of our White Race? Even a cursory look around you and a glimpse into the history of the past 50 years will tell you the answer is obviously no.The author in Chapter Three is very persuasive in his assertion that race can trump economics and that we White people can move towards a solution and end our slavery by building a Racial State. Race trumps space, geography, and time. Race is of infinite duration (page 168) but political orders and even countries come and go.It is a fact that the White Race is dying, and as the author sincerely if sadly states, "If it were not, this book could never have been conceived, let alone written.” (See page 179).This book reads like a modern sermon by Emerson to White people. The author could have benefited, however, from a good editor, not for the typographical errors (of which there are only a few) and not for any malfunctions in grammar. The book suffers some serious flaws in expression and perhaps as well in thought when it comes to labeling others. "The labels we ascribe, whatever they may be, do not alter the fundamental realities of Nature, try as we ignorantly might. . . . people truly have been trying to change the natural reality of the world in an effort to make it conform to language."On page 87, the author cites this insight, but then goes ahead and uses his own language to try to change the natural reality of the world himself when he says on pages 80 and 81, "It doesn’t always have to be this way but we today live in a bizarre world in which it is considered more socially acceptable for a White man to triumphantly profess his homosexuality (and thus the unmentioned physical sexual perversion that that entails) than to even meekly profess an attachment and loyalty to his White Race," and then continues to drive his labeling home further on page 123 with the patently absurd assertion, "Your race did not produce a Shakespeare so that you could embrace perverts." One group that is the most appreciative of Shakespeare is, in fact, homosexuals! The author's protests against same-sex involvements, especially pertaining to White people, are totally bizarre, ignorant and out of focus, like petty petards he wants to foist because he doesn't fully appreciate or understand Nature -- or himself, possibly. For my purpose, I rather would have liked the Racial State chapter (Chapter 3) to have been first and to have had the first chapter ("Our Minds Are In Chains") last for the reason that the last chapter is hard-hitting and mostly factual while the first chapter in particular moves quite slowly and is filled with ideas most racially conscious White people already know or are familiar with, although many ideas in the first chapter are good and well-expressed. The second chapter, "Exhortation," does not stand out in a decisively distinguished way, although it is less focused on the weaknesses and the racelessness of the enslaved White mind. The last chapter is a beauty, too, because it really allows the White reader to experience Matt Hale as a visionary and gain a taste of what that vision entails. Not to stretch a point about this matter, I hope, for myself, I did feel something of what Dante felt writing of his encounter of Beatrice when I encountered the author's vision of a Racial State for White people. That chapter and that vision make this book original, unique and well worth purchasing for that experience.Matt Hale is a violinist, and these chapters do resemble something of a violin concerto in that the whole book has just these three parts, and the first starts off slowly and in minor key, misty and troubled, like a movement in Sibelius's violin concerto, builds into a kind of playful march and joy in physical strength and power in chapter two, "Exhortation," while Chapter Three displays something of a striking resemblance to the magnificent, rousing, scherzo section of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major (op. 35).And I found a bit of humor in this provocative sermon as well. On page 119, the author has one pithy statement: "“The problem with any invasion of a people not your own is that it is, um, an invasion of people not your own!” LOL!

By hawk I'm glad I came across this book and others like it because slowly but surely the collapse of the White Race or it's being assimilated into other races is clearly evident. The Jewish community has been seeking the destruction of the White Race for centuries. The major weapon they are using against the White Race is the media portraying the assimilation and extinction of the White Race by totally "Blacking the White Race". Othergreat books to read would be The White man's Bible and to visit their website Creativity Movement. I don't profess to having a full understanding ofthis topic. So read and do it now.

I got the message "this item is not compatible with this device". I had this problem once before, also with a children's book. It is supposedly not a common occurrence but I wanted to put it out there that it is a possibility. Consequently, I had to read the story on my Kindle, so I was not able to enjoy the colors of the illustrations. Based on the book cover, it looks like they were probably very nice. The characters do look very friendly and have expressive faces throughout the book.At one point in the book the author uses the word "flabbergasted". Not something you'll find in the average child's vocabulary. Still, there's nothing wrong in learning new words - actually, reading is a great way to do so. I'm just pointing it out so you know you will probably need to explain this to your child.Otherwise, it was an enjoyable story. Nothing great, but fun. The biggest drawback was the way the book ended. I didn't even realize it was the end of the story until I turned the page and there was nothing else there. It really felt lacking and like it needed some better kind of wrap up to the events. Still, it is probably a story your children will enjoy.
