Slander causes confusion, anger, shock, trauma, hurt, humiliation, stress, anxiety and depression to the victim and their loved ones. It is a crime and a deadly sin. The most painful thing is when someone who claims to be a Christian slanders a person with lies and assumptions. Christians who are slandered by other "Christians" is traumatized as it is confusing and unexpected to be attacked by someone of your own kind. But are those monsters really of your own kind? Do parts of the same body viz. Christ hurt each other? This book aims to show who a slanderer really is. They are NOT Christians. Understanding about the enemy's true color brings peace as truth will set you free. I know that I will be attacked by the so-called Christians who wants to justify their actions or hobbies of slandering. I don't care. What's your reason for wanting to learn how to read Tarot cards? I know when I first started, I was curious about my own life more than anything else! So I would lay out the cards and ask a question to see if I could get an answer. That was back in 1975 when I bought my first deck and a book. Truthfully, I was having a super hard time because of the long explanations and meanings for each card. What further confused me were the reversed meanings. I still pushed on and kept practicing on myself and a few members of my family and close friends. I had to use the book while reading. Then in 1983 I went to a reader and was fascinated by her interpretations of the cards. They were different from all the meanings I had seen in other books. I attended her exclusive, invitation-only class and learned HER way! I decided to take those lessons and gather them together. The result is this little book that is power packed with information...no fluff, minimal illustrations, and no long-winded explanations. It's a unique blend of esoteric Tarot meanings combined with astrology and numerology. I've included a few "lessons" on astrology in the event you aren't familiar with the zodiac and a simple numerology explanation. You can use these simple meanings to learn what's going on in your own life. As my teacher used to say, the Tarot cards will always give you little clues...you just need to know how to interpret them! Just remember that when you lay out the cards, they will tell you what you NEED to know and not necessarily what you WANT to know. Since the first edition, I've added more information to this book, including symbols and colors in the Tarot and five sample layouts with interpretations. (Note: Amazon did not update the number of pages, but there are now 80 pages rather than 55.) I initially wanted to keep the book very basic rather than complicated. However, I realized there were some readers that wanted to become more immersed in the Tarot cards, so I provided more in depth details. Now you will find chapters on colors in the Tarot and symbols in Tarot cards. I personally don't use them in my readings but maybe many of you will want to! I also listened to the readers who were kind enough to write reviews, and it seemed as though some were disappointed because there were no "examples" of layouts in the book. So I took pictures of five layouts and explained them the best I could. Please remember I'm not a professional photographer, so they might look amateurish. That's because they are! Please be aware, the pictures are in black and white in this print edition because color pictures would have tripled the cost. So...if you are confused, frustrated and/or fed up with other Tarot card books that have long explanations and meanings and then reversed meanings as you are attempting to learn how to read your Tarot cards, go ahead and click on the "buy" button. I especially like the way the author connects the astrological signs to parts of the body and then connects the tarot cards to the astrological signs. I can really get a clear picture of anyone's health, good or bad depending on the other cards around it.Her descriptions of the court cards make it super easy...I can do so much with those! And I find it simple to define timeframes now with the information in this book.I started "playing" with tarot cards many years ago, but I got frustrated with all of the long-winded explanations of EACH card plus the reversed meaning for each. Too much to remember!I believe this is the only book you'll ever need to read tarot cards, unless, of course, you want to overcomplicate your readings.

It is a quick, fun read--I want to use as a read-aloud for the junior high classes I teach. I found the book personally encouraging as well. It was a great reminder to keep my family a priority in my life (as opposed to the upper middle class home life of the main character). This book also shows the importance that educators play in the lives of students--reminding us to go beyond worrying about standards and state testing! Highly recommend!

One of his brothers bullies him, and he in turn takes it out on other kids in school. When the class nerd ends up finding Kevin’s lost notebook that contains poetry he’s written, the bully becomes the bullied. His situation starts to turn around when a perceptive teacher figures out how to help him address his issues and acknowledge his strengths.Rhyme Schemer by K. A. Holt examines how a sensitive soul can go off track. Kevin is smart and insightful, but he acts out at school hoping it will get him the attention he craves at home. His parents aren’t bad, they’ve just fallen into a pattern of believing certain things about each of their children and stopped noticing anything that doesn’t reinforce their perceptions. They’re also a little overwhelmed working and raising five sons.Told in free verse, Rhyme Schemer shows the importance of having someone believe in you and recognize the strengths you have. While the free-verse format makes it easy to read quickly, the text begs for lingering over or even a second reading to get the most out of the meaning. With more and more pastors going to usage of iPads, tablets, etc in the field, this was going to be very useful to replace my print copy. No I guess I will scan my paper version and make my own PDF version for my tablet computer.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Do Not Buy The Pocket Edition; Misleading Description By Amazon Customer Do not get this pocket edition! It is not as advertised. It does NOT have everything the regular edition has, except the service music; all it has are a very limited range of occasional services, specifically, baptisms, funerals, communion for the sick, communion at funerals, and morning and evening prayer for small worship groups. The product description is wrong and entirely misleading; there is no content in this book organized by liturgical season, and there are no orders of worship for regular use. The $16.99 edition has that; this one is not, as was claimed, the $16.99 edition but without the service music, but is a drawtically abbreviated book for occasional services of pastoral care only.
