1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Sweet story By Red Apple Reader What a sweet story! I'm glad it was available with Kindle Unlimited. Jeb and Sally are wholesome characters whose expectations in life are something every reader can identify with. Sally simply wants a place to belong, a fresh start, a home, a husband, and eventually, children. Jeb's reasons for fearing a marriage to a deaf woman are legitimate, understandable. The development of their relationship while he tries to do something about Sally's need for a husband takes up much of the story. I wish I could have seen more interaction between them, more evidence of developing tender feelings, more longing for things to work out between them. It did have a satisfying (if quick) resolution.Sensuality Level: CleanLanguage: CleanViolence: mild mentions (all happened off stage, past recollections)
