This unique, tip-filled manual tells us how to arrive at that place of serenity in practical, day-by-day steps of meditation and self-awareness.Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning "primary substance." It pertains to the quality of light in a person's physical and spiritual senses. The Akasha helps us connect with the world, using our spiritual resources.The Akashic Records are used by scholars, mystics and even saints. These individuals use their spirituality to establish deep relationships and go much farther in their spiritual journeys than would otherwise be possible.Empowerment and growth are two factors that make Akashic reading an essential tool, allowing you to move more firmly toward a goal or objective you desire. In so doing, you can assess your physical being, go over your own "soul book," and better connect with people who understand you.This book addresses an age-old question: "Is the spirit world real?" It also discusses spirit guides in depth, and clarifies the difference between good spirits and bad spirits. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Might be retitled to Spirit Guides, Making Contact By Crystal This brief guide has a bit of a Christian slant. This is not a criticism. This is just to let readers know the author refers to the Bible as a reference/authority to support assertions and the included prayers are to the Holy Spirit or mention the Holy Spirit. "The Akashic Records are under the protection and government of the Lords of The Records -- a distinct group of non-physical beings who are secretly working with spiritual teachers and biblical scholars." "In the Holy Bible, Akasha has a lot of meanings and interpretations..." It may be the author wished to address potential Christian questions about whether this process is in keeping with Christian beliefs and the Bible.As the title of the book was about the akashic records I thought the entire book would be about the akashic records, but most of the book was about spirit guides and contacting spirit guides which the author feels is helpful practice for accessing the akashic records. The author didn't fully explain some of the information so it felt like something was missing. There is no explanation of how you will know if you're actually in the akashic records or when you should attempt to move from spirit guide contact to prayers to enter the akashic records.There also seemed to be a contradiction or at least some confusion as the author states spirit guides are "not dead people" and in fact "they're not real humans at all. When we connect with our spirit guides, we are connecting with our non-physical energy." Yet later writes, "We are blessed with spirit guides everyday. They encompass a lot of things -- be it an ancestor, a dead relative or someone who has been reincarnated." So if you have an ancestor/relative spirit guide are they not actually your ancestor/relative but just a bit of your own energy?The last chapter of this short book before the conclusion is titled "Exercises to Access The Akashic Records" and is all about contacting spirit guides with suggested questions you can ask. "To find your spirit guide is a matter of beginning the process of connecting with them. These lessons can help you. Try to focus and sustain your thought on one goal: "I wish to make contact with my Spirit Guide." If you can get the info you need by asking your spirit guides why do you need to access the akashic records?I've read a few books on accessing the akashic records and they just tell you how to access the records, no spirit guide contact is mentioned. I'm not saying it might not be beneficial just that it may not be necessary. Why not just practice on opening your record? These days you could probably get basic info on how to access the akashic records for free off the Internet or watching some YouTube videos. It wasn't a bad book but some things could definitely be explained better and I would have liked more info directly about the akashic records.

This book gives you the tools , step by step in a clear manner. The energy surge I felt when reading the chapter on Who is present in the Akashic Records, was amazing.
