By Amy Another fan of the first book, "Seeing Jesus" messaged me thru my Amazon review of that book that this one was coming out and when. I bought it immediately and began to read. I only stopped once and that was to sleep. "Hearing Jesus" again like the first book, brought home to me how very precious and amazing our Lord and Savior is. It surely kicked me into realizing I need to get back into His Word, DAILY! And if you don't like "preachy" books, let me assure you THIS ISN'T ONE!! It's a fun-filled deeper walk with THE certain SOMEONE none of should be living without! If my review sounds a bit "preachy", it's because I feel as though I just spent some super quality time with my Lord. There's a surprise encounter towards the end that I in no way expected!! PLEASE, don't miss out on this one!!!

Besides being a great read where I came to know the characters so well that I still think about them, I also was able to get closer to my Lord. This book was entertaining, magical and had me smiling as I read it in one day he because couldn't put it down. These books may be works of fiction but the message is as true as it's been for 2000 years. It will touch your life. It will change you. In fact, you just might learn to see Jesus in a better light. You might just feel closer to him and you might just find yourself talking out loud to Him as if He stands right beside you because He does, doesn't he? Oh how much I highly recommend this book to all. :)HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! :D

Everyone who carries Jesus in his heart has a secret wish to experience Jesus the way Gladys Hight does in this beautiful story. Gladys is an ordinary woman who has always felt close to Jesus – but she never expected him to appear to her in her own home and speak to her in person, tell her the secrets of her heart, and heal her from her most private pain. Then he tells her what he wants her to do – and she has to step out of her comfort zone and take a leap of faith.I will want to read this book again and I will no doubt experience even more realizations about my relationship with Jesus. I wait breathlessly for Jeffrey McClain Jones’ next book in this series.
