Druids, long the source of myth and mystery, were not lost in the mists of time. Once central to ancient Celtic culture, the spirits of the Druids periodically return to inspire new generations to find solutions for the spiritual needs of new eras. The Book of Keltria tells the story of a modern branch of Druidism that has evolved to be relevant in the 21st century. Decades of oral and written lessons developed by the key individuals who shaped the Henge, are consolidated into book form for the first time. Derived from material once found only in its correspondence course and workshops, The Book of Keltria includes information on Druid history, Keltrian Druid theology, invocation techniques, and ritualcraft. Also included are chapters on meditation, use of divination, magick, and the history of the Henge. All are presented with the goal of assisting readers in their spiritual evolution through honoring the Ancestors, revering the Spirits of Nature and celebrating the Gods and Goddesses of the ancient Celts. "A feast of information for anyone interested in Druidry. The Book of Keltria provides a fascinating account of how the Keltrian path has developed, and of the ways in which Druidism is able to respond to the spiritual needs of growing numbers of seekers." - Philip Carr-Gomm

Sam Foster Elders of the Henge of Keltria (HoK) wrote the "Book of Keltria" and for the first time this knowledge is available to non-members. The authors constitute many of the original leaders in the development of Druidry in America dating back several decades. The book is true to its summary and the chapters reveal many of the mysteries of Druidry including magick, ritual craft, relations with the Gods and Goddesses, Ancestors, and Nature Spirits. The Book of Keltria serves the whole range of Druids from neophytes to advanced and will be a "go to" reference book. It is truly inspirational!

This is as clear an explanation of Keltrian practice and beliefs as you could want. I'm in my fourth year as a Keltrian, and I found it very inspirational.

This book is a good first effort at describing the practices of Keltrian Druids By Searles O'Dubhain Finding Druidism in the 21st CenturyA Review of the Book of Keltria: Druidism for the 21st CenturyI have now read the eBook version of the Book of Keltria and liked many sections of it regarding the different aspects of Keltrian practice and especially the history of the Henge as it grew along with Tony Taylor's own growth and search for the roots of Druidism. Some parts of the work appealed to me more than others and as is usual when many viewpoints are present, some viewpoints could disagree or be less than is desired by others. This is always the case in anything that matters until one has transcended such things.Being human and living many lifetimes, insures that we are periodically bounded and limited in our perceptions, however. So, it is with Keltria and its members. I like the structures described that allow folks to come together and the promise that is presented to show there is a way to break out of the prisons of society and hierarchies. The strength of Keltria can be seen in its openness and organization, providing roles for those who seek them and understanding to those who wish to seek that aspect of self-growth. Some parts of the mysteries associated with obtaining knowledge and understanding are mentioned, but it seemed to me that the impact of pushing through the studies to the point where a symbiosis occurs was somehow minimized or omitted. In future additions I'd like to see stronger hints and descriptions leading to these life changing experiences to be found in Druidism and particularly in the manner that Keltrian Druids discover them and experience them again and again. As the birth and life of the Henge of Keltria reflects Tony Taylor's own personal quest to find answers and fulfillment in spirituality, I would like to see a stronger, more detailed description of these things reflected in the descriptions of the Henge in its book. The tale in Chapter 7 - The Relevance of Mythology in the 21st Century, seemed to me to be a distraction rather than an enhancement to the story of Keltria. It could be improved if it allowed the reader to play a role or to identify with one of the characters. I say this because the myths and tales are and should be an important part of ritual, wherein those in the congregation can strongly identify or learn from how the characters of these stories relate and are themselves impacted. The myths are our RPG from the past that allow us to live it. That is an important part of almost every religion's ritual structure and the resulting experience for participants. It is even the thing that makes modern social phenomenon like Star Wars so popular and impactful to society. Keltria has a similar story to be experienced by seekers, to be absorbed and emulated, and to be elevated through individual lifetimes of actions. It is probably also the engineer and Druid within me that would like to see diagrams along with the word images to serve as a focal point for understanding and additional consideration of how things work. In that same vein, I would have enjoyed more detailed descriptions of how tools are used in rituals and divinations (along with those pesky diagrams). Additionally, the eBook (Kindle) edition does not seem to have a table of contents so that it is difficult to find and study the chapters. This would make it a much more efficiently used reference source.Aside from those items and a few minor editorial/spelling changes, I thought the book to be a valuable addition to any Druid's or seeker's library and thoughts. Every book and course is immediately in need of being improved once it is published. I'd love to see the Book of Keltria continue its growth and assistance to those who follow the Druid way.If you are seeking a home to learn and practice the Druid way. the Henge of Keltria is the best place to start: http://www.keltria.org- Searles O'Dubhain
