She shares specific, insightful skills that even the best communicator can benefit from. I appreciated the reminders and the things I hadn't considered before about how we communicate, as both speaker and listener. I really liked how she begins each day with a Bible verse and then she explains how to integrate that principle in our interaction with others.Get this book - you won't be disappointed!

She uses real world examples that we all can relate to in order to emphasize how to achieve positive communication skills. I love how each chapter addresses a specific skill and gives practical tips on how to develop those skills and reinforces it all with scripture. This would be a great resource for a women's bible study as there is a workbook available too!

This book doubles as a wonderful read-through or as a daily devotional. Christy Largent writes an engaging, thoughtful communication devotional with well-chosen scriptures for each day. Her summary at the end of the book gets to the heart of why we should seek to be positive communicators.
