I didn't learn anything new per se, since I have used these principles for many years, but really appreciate the recipes. My only suggestion to make it better for beginners is meal plans, and step by step guides for implementation from day one. The book gives good lists and and resources.

The trend currently is to go to extremes with eating, but after reading this book I feel more confident to not overthink things, but just go back to homemade goodness. Thankfully the author shares not only much sound information, but also so many wonderful recipes that I am anxious to try.

By Blackbird II This is really a cute and nice story that has something very important to teach to children, which is tolerance and acceptance. It is so cute the way the creeper writes to his diary, which is one's best friend. It also shows how to get satisfaction, one sometimes will have to get out of his comfort zone, and this teaches children already how to be independent, which is very important! Sometimes, we had to do uncomfortable things to reach a goal, as life is tough. Overcoming all the hardships and obstacle is a victory, as the story ends!

By Pgilly I love historical decks, and these are pretty and well-made, but these cards are huge, making them pretty unusable for larger spreads (or really, even in general). The box they come in is nice and sturdy, and the accompanying booklet has some interesting historical content. Even so, I am not using this deck due to its size. It's disappointing because if they were mini or standard Lenormand size, this would be a perfect deck.Update: I finally figured out a way to take advantage of the huge size of these cards. If you read the Grand Tableau with houses, you can set these down first in sequence, then lay your drawn cards via another deck on top of them. It actually works out pretty well that way. So I'm kicking this up from 2 to 3 stars.

It is larger than the traditional poker size, which for men having big hands and or arthritis, find difficult to handle. These are a pleasure to handle, done in subtle colors and absent of background clutter. I highly recommend them.

The epilogue at the end was a nice touch. Derrell My 8 year old periodically expresses interest in cooking, and we've looked at many kids' cookbooks but none of them every really inspired us to buy. But we were in a bookstore over the weekend and flipped through this book, and both really liked the unique approach. This book is organized into lessons and while there are many recipes (over 30) the focus of the book is on teaching kids basic food preparation and cooking skills. The age recommendation is 8 and up; though this could be easily read by a younger child, I found that I want to supervise when knives and graters are involved.How to Cook is written in very clear language which my child found easy to understand. Tonight we made the cheese straws and minestrone soup which came out great. We are looking forward to working our way through the rest of the lessons- it's going to be a fun way for us to spend time together. And I feel cooking is a really important life skill, so I'm glad she has this guide to teach her the basics.

It worked well on every screen I had and even seemed to cut down on a fingerprints and smudges. It also should last a good long while since a little bit goes a long way.Great product and even better value for the money.
