About the Author David Chadwick has been the pastor of Forest Hill Church in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1980. He played basketball at and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, then joined a professional basketball league for three years in Europe. He has MDiv and DMin degrees from Columbia Theological Seminary.

An Inspirational Book about a Great Human Being -- THANK YOU By Charles Edmundson An inspirational book about the man I have always tried to emulate in my own life. Everyone needs to read this book to find what the true value of a life can be. Thank you David Chadwick for taking the time to share this story and principles of a great man. When I read the tributes to Coach Smith, a few tears fill my eyes when I think about him being gone from the world. Then, I realize that he will always be here in his players, friends and with the many lives Coach Smith touched. I never played for Coach Smith, but I love Carolina and count myself among the people blessed to have met the man to have been inspired by him.

Dave Chadwick does great job of capturing this iconic coach By Ronald A Smith Having followed Dean's Smith's career from the very beginning in 1962, Dave Chadwick does great job of capturing this iconic coach. Chadwick offers personal stories from his time playing for Coach Smith along with lots of anecdotes from former players and rival coaches. A must read for Carolina fans and anyone who loves sports!
